Make sure to scroll down and read the entire instructions.
1. Uninstalling Third-Party Antivirus Programs (IF YOU HAVE ONE)
Open Control Panel:
Type "Control Panel" in the Windows search bar and open it.
Access Programs and Features:
Find and click on "Programs and Features."
Find Your Antivirus Program:
Look through the list for any third-party antivirus software you have installed, like McAfee, Malwarebytes, Norton, or Kaspersky.
Uninstall:
Right-click on the antivirus program you wish to remove and select "Uninstall."
Follow Uninstallation Prompts:
Proceed with the prompts to uninstall the software, granting any permissions if required.
Restart Your Computer (if needed):
Sometimes, a restart is necessary to complete the uninstallation process. If prompted, go ahead and reboot your computer.
2. Disabling Windows Security's Real-Time Protection
Open Windows Security:
Press the Windows key on your keyboard, type "Windows Security," and hit Enter.
Access Virus & Threat Protection:
Once the app opens, select "Virus & Threat Protection" from the menu on the left.
Manage Settings:
Scroll down to "Virus & Threat Protection settings" and click "Manage settings."
Turn Off Real-Time Protection:
Look for the "Real-time protection" toggle and switch it off. This temporarily stops malware and virus scanning.
Disable Tamper Protection:
It's also essential to turn off "Tamper Protection" to proceed. You'll find this option in the same settings area.
Confirm Your Action:
A warning will pop up, letting you know your device might be at risk. Click "Yes" or "Turn off" to confirm your choice.
3. Guide to Deactivate Windows Defender with Defender Control
Download Defender Control:
Locate the download button, highlighted in red, and click it to begin downloading.
Launch the Program:
Once the download is complete, open Defender Control. If prompted, input the default password, which is "sordum".
Disable Windows Defender:
Within the program interface, find and select "Disable Windows Defender" to turn off its protection features.
Confirm Your Action:
If any confirmation prompts appear, agree to them to confirm and execute the action.
Important Reminder:
After disabling Windows Defender, ensure it remains deactivated, especially after a system restart. Sometimes, it may revert to an enabled state, indicated by a yellow status. If this happens, re-disable it, restart your computer, and then repeat the process. Adhering to these steps should resolve any issues. Failure to do so may require repeating the aforementioned steps.
If you follow all the instructions meticulously and carry them out perfectly, this is the result you should anticipate.
